In the photovoltaic industry, nitrogen plays a key role and is mainly used for inert atmosphere creation and wafer growth during manufacturing processes. Nitrogen’s high purity and non-reactive characteristics make it ideal for protecting sensitive photovoltaic materials from oxygen and other pollutants, thereby improving product quality and efficiency. For example, during silicon wafer growth and thin film deposition, nitrogen can effectively prevent oxidation and impurity contamination, ensuring excellent performance and long-lasting stability of PV components. Such an application is crucial in improving the conversion efficiency and reliability of solar cells.
